My brother and I are currently building an ambitious multiplayer action game project and are looking for a skilled gameplay programmer interested in joining as an early technical partner.
I am leading the creative direction of the project, including gameplay design, combat flow, character concepts, and overall vision. My brother is a Kelley School of Business graduate and is handling the business, organizational, and long term development side of the project.
We are currently focused on building a polished vertical slice / tech demo intended to demonstrate the gameplay feel, technical potential, and overall direction of the project.
Current prototype scope:
• Small playable environment
• One or two playable characters
• Core movement and combat systems
• Basic multiplayer functionality
• Placeholder assets where appropriate
We are looking for someone with experience in:
• Unity or Unreal Engine
• Gameplay systems and combat mechanics
• Multiplayer implementation
• Rapid prototyping and iteration
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
This is currently an equity / revshare opportunity for someone interested in becoming a genuine founding technical partner rather than simply completing contract work.
We understand the challenges and risks that come with early stage game development, which is why we are intentionally keeping the initial scope focused and achievable before expanding further.
