The response to FORMAT /AF comand displays funny graphic characters

If one issues the format /af command, the response displays garbled characters. This is true for FreeDOS 1.4-RC1, and for the test versions including French & Turkish translations with which I tested. Please see the screenshots below.

Hi Berki,
I also got this message when I tried it your way.
But I think your syntax is wrong. It should be something like this:
format a: /f:1440 to format a 1,4 MB diskette.
/af does not mention the drive (A:) and f does not mention the size of the diskette.
I know that there exist programs where you can add options with /abc.

You're right, the syntax is wrong and that command is illegal. But I tried it anyway and contrarily to MS-DOS which displays an error message, we get funny graphic characters. Not a major issue, sure, but may need to be fixed. Thanks for clarifying that these options shouldn't be used in that way.
