Via @scripting I found your post about your work on this plugin. I help Dave administer daveverse.org and wrote the theme and some plugins for it.
We tried to activate the original plugin at daveverse.org, which is hosted at wordpress.com. We couldn't get it to work. I suspect that wordpress.com is blocking access to port 5337. Since the plugin had not been updated in so long, I assumed it had been abandoned. I ended up writing a workaround as a plugin to ping rpc.rsscloud.io directly instead of setting up RSS Cloud endpoints in the WordPress site.
